(Canton, MS – January 22, 2008) – Madison Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler entertained and delighted an audience of nearly 70 preschoolers and parents at Madison library’s Tuesday morning storytime. The mayor charmed a captivated audience of three-to-five-year olds as she read A Big Quiet House: A Yiddish Folktale from Eastern Europe.

The Madison city library is one of five branches of the Madison County Library System. Regular storytimes for the Madison branch are Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. for preschoolers and Wednesdays at 10:00 & 10:45 a.m. for toddlers.
