Meeting Rooms
Reserve meeting spaces for community, educational, and civic use at select library locations.
Overview
The Madison County Library System welcomes the use of its meeting room facilities for cultural, civic, educational, and public information meetings that benefit the community. Meeting rooms are not available for church services or private social functions such as receptions, parties, showers, or reunions.
Eligibility and Use
Meeting room use is guided by the principles of the Library Bill of Rights. Facilities are made available on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting use.
Rooms are available primarily to non-profit organizations and community groups within Madison County. Individuals may request space for quiet study when available.
Priority and Availability
Library-sponsored programs, staff meetings, and training sessions receive first priority for meeting room use. Remaining availability is offered to eligible community groups on a first-come, first-served basis. When scheduling conflicts arise, community group use will take priority over individual use.
